Ingredients
Karimeen – 4
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Chilli powder – 2 ½ tsp
Black Pepper Powder – 1tsp
Garlic Cloves – 4-5
Small Onion (South Indian) – 5-6
Olive Oil or any Refined Oil – 4 tbsp
Salt as required
Mint Leaves or herbs – Only if you like For Garnishing Purpose
Lemon – ½ Onion (slice in circle) – 1
Green Chilly (slice vertically) – 2-3
Tomato (slice in vertical – 4 pieces) – 2
Coriander Leaves – 2 strips
Preparation
Clean the fish and finely make zebra stripes on it with a knife. Blend small onions, garlic cloves, black pepper powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt. Make a good paste. Now carefully fill this paste into the fish. Also add herbs into this. Keep the fish aside for around 10-20 mins. Pre-heat the microwave (750W). Take a microwave vessel and pour little bit oil on it. Spread it well. Layered the fish into this and pour the remaining oil over it. Cook this for around 20-25 min. After 15 min turn the fish carefully and cook this for the remaining time.
Seasoning
Place the fish into a nice plate and add 4-5 drops of lemon over it. Decorate with sliced tomato, green chilly, onions and coriander leaves. Enjoy this with hot rice.
