Avalos Balls,Avalosunda
Ingredients
1. Raw rice – 1 kg
2. coconut – 2
3. jaggery – 1 kg
Method
1) Wash the rice cleanly, dry it and grind.
2) Grate the coconut finely.
3) Melt jiggery in a pan with a little water and let the water to evaporate.
While pouring down the melted jiggery in small quantity, the thread must start breaking. At that stage add the grated coconut into the jaggery. When the coconut becomes crisp, add the rice flour and keep on stirring until it becomes reddish. Remove the pan from the stove and make the cooked item into small balls.
