Ingredients

All Purpose Flour(Maida)-2cup
Milk-1/2cup
Buttermilk-3/4cup
Sugar-1tbsp
Salt-to taste
semolina(sooji)-handful
Baking Powder-1/2 tbsp
Oil-for frying

Method

In a vessel add maida,baking powder ,salt and sugar ..MIx these powders well with hand .Now add suji and mix ..Then add buttermilk .Finally add milk, knead well to make a smooth and soft dough.Sprinkle 1tsp of oil in the top of the dough and again mix well..Keep this aside for at least 2 hours in a tight container ..(it will be more good if the time increases)..Now divide the dough into equal sized big balls…Roll them out to a thick big poories…..(it has to be even in all sides)

Heat oil in a deep bottomed kadai .Make sure the oil is hot .Drop rolled batura in the oil and press on the top of the batura with a spoon so that batura will rise big ….With out pressing u will not get a big batura .Drain them in kitchen tissues..Serve hot with chena masala
